Position Overview:
As an Independent Cruise Line Customer Service Agent (Contractor) with RISE Call Solutions, you will:
- Serve on the front lines of the guest and Travel Agent partner’s experience
- Interact with guests and Travel Agent partners via phone; focusing on questions related to the cruise line, destinations, ship, amenities, and many other pre-cruise-related items
- Provide consistent, high-quality support to all guests and Travel Agent patterns
- Research, navigate, and locate answers to guests and Travel Agent partners questions and concerns
- Leverage the cruise line’s website, internal web-based knowledge service, system tools, and other resources to independently respond to inquiries
- Document all calls, detail resolution, and follow-up on actions
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older. No degree is necessary.
- U.S. Citizen and cannot reside in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Wisconsin, the District of Columbia, or any U.S. Territories.
- Ability to pass a drug test (if applicable) and a background check.
- Proficient in English (bilingual positions may be available).
- Must have a quiet distraction-free work environment.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work 15-20 hours per week with 5 hours (10 intervals) on Saturdays or Sundays, or a combination of both
Equipment Requirements:
- Must have a laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or 11 installed.
- Dual Core 2.8 GHz or better or Intel I class or AMD Phenom X2 class or better, 20 GB or more available space, 60 GB or more of total space, 4 GB of RAM or better
- No all-in-one computers
- No Atom, Celeron, Pentium, and Opteron Processor are permitted
- Mac computers permitted – must run Windows Bootcamp
- Dual monitors (1280 x 1024 screen resolution minimum)will be helpful but are not required.
- Must have a hard-wired broadband internet service via DSL, cable, or fiber optic connection
- Wi-Fi is not acceptable
- Min. 10 Mbps download speed
- Min. 3 Mbps upload speed
- Max. latency threshold of 120 ms
- Must have a cell phone with service for two-factor authentication
- USB Wired headset (noise canceling headset recommended)
- Capable of typing, using the internet, email, chat features, and learning client-specific software.

Training:
- Client-specific training is mandatory and unpaid during the first few weeks
- You will start earning during the final week or two of training
- Training sessions are typically Monday through Friday, with both morning/afternoon and afternoon sessions available to fit your schedule
